Steps to get it running?

You will need to add a new role and user into each separate Magento store you wish to integrate with Orderhive.

Step 1 – Creating a new role:

  1. From the Magento Dashboard go to System > Web Services > Roles.
  2. Click Add New Role.
  3. Under Role Information, add Role name and all information.
  4. Under Role Information, click Role Resources.
  5. From the drop-down list, select ‘All’. Click Save Role.

Step 2 – Create a new user and assign them a role

  1. Click System in the top menu and go to Web Services > Users.
  2. Click Add New User.
  3. Enter information for your user and assign them to your new role, then save.

Once you’re done you will receive a message in your Magento store which will allow you successfully integrate your store with Orderhive.

Step 3 – Head back to the App and paste details

  • Now that you have your API details, head back to Orderhive portal.
  • For the Magento store URL, use the address of your Magento shop.
  • For the Magento API username use the username created in step 2.
  • For the Magento API key, use the API key/Password created in step 1.

Now after you fill the above details and before you integrate your Magento store with Orderhive, you will be asked as “How would you like to manage your inventory?” “Auto sync” or “Manual sync.”

When Auto sync on

This setting will allow you up-to-date inventory levels. This means any changes made to your inventory in your Orderhive’s account will be auto-updated in all your Magento stores as well as other channels.

When Manual sync on

This setting will allow you manually sync inventory for your Orderhive account and Magento storefronts individually. This means any changes made to your inventory in your Orderhive’s account will not be auto-updated in all your Magento stores. In such cases any changes done in inventory will only be updated only when you opt to ‘sync’ through the channels dashboard screen.
