We listen to our consumers’ feedback…
…and wishes carefully and consequently try to implement new services or improve our services. Therefore, after listening to many of your demands, we have come up with an addition to the automation actions. It’s called “Change receiving warehouse” which enables you to change the receiving warehouse while updating the PO status. If one of your warehouses is functioning in its full capacity or you have incoming products from a certain supplier that needs to be sent to a particular warehouse or anything else.
Change Receiving Warehouse – How will it help you?
It’s always a task to change the process of an already established plan. You have to make phone calls and do changes yourself in the software if you want to change the receiving warehouse after the PO is raised. However, with this new automation action, you can set triggers and action – Change the receiving warehouse with the appropriate conditions like if the “warehouse is not a default warehouse then” and everything gets taken care of automatically.
Let’s learn how to set this action- “Change Receiving Warehouse” for your conditions.
First, click on the automate button on your console and then go to new automation.
You will see a list of new automation updated by orderhive, as shown in the image below.
Now click on the “add trigger” button below the Start When tab. And you will see a trigger on the right-hand side list after scrolling a bit. The name of the trigger would be – Purchase Order Status Updated.
After clicking on the trigger “Purchase order status updated” you will see a flowchart and set of conditions. You can select the required set of requirements from the list of the conditions provided when you click on the tab below IF.
There will be two instances, Yes or NO, for which you set the condition. Click on add action tabs for both Yes or no and you will see the action – “ Change Receiving Warehouse “ among the list. Select that action if you want to change the receiving warehouse according to your set conditions.
