Automation: New Trigger – Shipment Status Update

The Automation module of Orderhive has recently got its new trigger – Shipment Status Update.

.

Whenever you set up new automation, or maybe modify an existing one, you will see this feature in the ‘triggers’ section.

.

Let’s see an example of how exactly this new feature operates.

.

Open Orderhive > Go to Automate > New Automation

.

.

As soon as you click on New Automation, there will be an option “Starts When”. Click on “Starts When” and you will be able to see a list of triggers right next to it (as shown in the image above). “Shipment status is updated” will be one of the triggers in the list. Select the trigger and then you will move on to the conditions that are to be applied to that particular trigger.

.

.

Once you move on to the conditions – you will see the options on the right-hand side. Feed-in all the conditions that are necessary for your automation to operate. “Shipping status is Delivered” is the selected condition. Now, as we know, there will be two instances when you set up the condition – either YES or NO. You will have to feed-in actions for both instances.

.

.

For the YES instance, there will be a list of actions on the right-hand side. Select from the list (as shown in the image above), feed-in the necessary details.

.

.

For the NO instance, there will be a list of actions on the right-hand side. Select from the list (as shown in the image above), feed-in the necessary details.
